Linkedin - Professional Chaos

LinkedIn, often labeled as the “professional networking platform” meant to elevate your career, is, in reality, one of the most chaotic and user-unfriendly systems I've ever encountered. Let me share my little nightmare with you.
You start off by creating a profile: everything is filled out, looking good. But then you attempt to log in through the app. Out of nowhere, LinkedIn demands verification. Fine, you think, I'll comply. But naturally, nothing goes right. Error messages pop up every single time. Just like that, you find yourself locked out of your own account.
So, you reach out to support. What do you receive? A generic response telling you to… verify again. Thanks a lot, LinkedIn, super helpful. You make another attempt, this time using the link from their email. You snap a photo, upload your ID card, and wait. Then comes the kicker: LinkedIn responds saying “something doesn’t match.” What exactly doesn’t match? No clue, they don’t bother to clarify. Instead, they request another form of ID, such as a driver’s license. Luckily, I do drive. But guess what? My driver’s license is still that old paper version. Not scannable. Not acceptable.
I tried explaining this in eight separate emails. Eight! Each time, I received what seemed like AI-generated responses, so vague it was obvious no one had actually read my messages. Out of sheer frustration, I did something I usually wouldn't: I sent them a selfie holding both my ID card and my driver’s license. A clear, undeniable photo. Do you think they accepted it? Of course not. Just another useless, bot-like response.
And here’s it is: since I could no longer log in with my phone number, I had to purchase a new SIM card. Which meant, hold on, I had to create an entirely new LinkedIn account. Fine, I set it up, logged in, and everything seemed alright. Hours later, I try to log in with my smartphone and BANG! Another verification request. Here we go again. Same circus, all over again.
So yes, LinkedIn markets itself as a sleek, professional platform. The truth? A verification system that's a total mess. User-friendliness: nonexistent. Customer support: nonexistent. Actual human intelligence: nonexistent. At this point, I genuinely can’t tell if they’re just incompetent, or if they purposely design it to be so frustrating that people simply throw in the towel.
